Avon Rose Creative grew out my interest in Pictish and Celtic designs. I had made simple jewellery for quite a while, but redundancy forced me to consider my options. I found wire wrapping to be fascinating, with some of the intricate designs and weaves. My first few attempts at learning this new skill either had errors in the weaves or just didn't work. I do all my wire development using copper wire, with the final pieces made using sterling silver wire.

Each wire piece is either sterling silver or copper. Seed beads are used in some of the pieces to add colour and some of the pieces incorporate Scottish sourced minerals (quartz, granite, etc) or naturally found items (shells, sea glass, etc) as centrepieces.

For the solid silver pieces, I use precious metal clay which is moulded from moulds created from air drying clay formers.

Privacy

No personal information is stored within the website system, all names, address, etc are stored within the Paypal system. Please see the Paypal privacy statement on the Paypal site.

Payments

The Paypal system is used for payment and cart information, which allows credit and debit cards to be used as well as payment through Paypal.

Postage and shipping is free within the UK (including the entire Highlands & Islands) and the EU (until Brexit). Due to the complications of customs, import duties, and some countries not allowing jewellery to be posted, international sales outside the EU cannot be done.
